A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN EMPLOYMENT TRAINER As an Employment Trainer you work one-on-one with our participants at their employment settings.
You find it deeply satisfying to help them develop the skills that they need in order to work out in the community.
You help them learn work skills such as punctuality, appropriate dress, and following directions in accordance with their individual employment goals.
You also provide on-the-job support including facilitating their integration at the worksite, ensuring their learning of specific job duties, supplementing their work as necessary, and systematically fading direct support.
You provide transportation for participants when required as well as encourage them to learn how to use other forms of transportation, monitor pedestrian safety skills, and provide assistance with wheelchairs.
With attention to detail, you keep documentation up-to-date and accurate including their contacts and progress, time and billing sheets, job analyses, standardization of tasks, and the results of the wage determination process.
Keeping up on hiring and employment laws and regulations helps you maintain HR compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EMPLOYMENT TRAINER At least 18 years old Basic knowledge and understanding of issues that affect people with disabilities Experience using software packages including Microsoft Office Access to non-public transportation including required insurance coverage Quick Apply.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
